This film was produced to aid in fundraising for Open Arms, a youth programme for refugees and asylum seekers based in Ramsgate, Kent. The documentary celebrates the programme's one-year milestone, illustrating how music, art, and cooking foster connections among young asylum seekers. The charity has recently been awarded a further 18-months funding to sustain the programme, partly off the back of the success of the film.
