Social Media case study
Foxes FC
Foxes FC is a leading London-based children’s football club for ages 5 to 17. I’ve been working with them as a video producer, camera operator and editor. I was brought in to increase engagement on their social media channels, mainly Instagram and TikTok, through the creation of short, varied videos, involving players, coaches, parents, actors and models.
The use of social media for Foxes FC is an important part of their marketing strategy, so building engagement was imperative. I worked with the client to identify the key audiences to grow the channels - current and prospective players and parents - meaning producing a style of video that appealed to both demographics.
— “George not only captured the essence of our brand but also added a cinematic touch that exceeded our expectations. His innovative approach to storytelling through visuals left a lasting impression on everyone here at our club.”
— “From the moment we first engaged with George, we knew we were in capable hands. His professionalism, attention to detail, and unparalleled creativity stood out from the very beginning.”
Video testimonies are filmed with parents at practice and academy sessions, while player-to-player and coach-to-coach interview videos (’Meet the Players’ and ‘Meet the Coaches’ respectively) allow those involved to share their personality with the audience, something that is crucial in the online presence of a brand.
Other video series produced include ‘The Shootout’, a quiz format where players take part in a penalty shootout if they can correctly answer football related questions, and high energy montage videos used for a variety of occasions, for example the start of a term or the announcement of holiday camps and workshops.
The brief was challenging, not least because the target demographics varied widely. I needed to create content that appealed to children and teenagers as well as adults. The resulting videos engaged with the demographics for different reasons; the players because they enjoy seeing themselves, their peers and their coaches appear in polished videos on their social feeds; the parents because of the novelty and occassional ‘cuteness’.
— “His post-production work was meticulous, showcasing his dedication to delivering polished and captivating video. We can't thank George enough for his outstanding work.
George's passion for videography shines through in every frame. We would wholeheartedly recommend George to anyone seeking top-notch videography services!”
